Google has a culture of secrecy and NDAs when it comes to their products. This isn’t entirely useful for tour, activity and attraction operators who are trying to figure out how their new Things To Do product works — and how best to use it to increase their direct bookings.
Since its launch Things To Do has been well received — in general. There are still issues and bits and bobs for the advertising giant to work on. So we’ve put together two sessions at Arival 360 San Diego that operators who want to increase sales through their listings need to attend.

Google Things To Do — What it is, and What You Should be Doing About it Right Now
Google’s release of Things To Do is an exciting step for our industry. It offers free direct traffic to operators. Getting your listings set up, and optimizing these is confusing. The product is still in beta and there are still many questions. However, there are key steps that you should be taking immediately.
Join Christian Watts from Magpie Travel and Robin Harnish from Tourism Solved, both of whom are Google approved connectivity partners, who will walk you through best practices. They’ll share how you can ensure doing everything you can do to maximize traffic. This session will be repeated.
The Great Google Debate
Google is claiming its stake in the Best Part of Travel with Things To Do. Is this good for operators, distributors and travelers? Or is it just good for Google? This session brings two of our industry’s most outspoken minds — Blanca Menchaca form BeMyGuest and Rod Cuthbert Founder, Viator, & Board Member, Veltra together for a frank and fiery debate about Google Things to Do.
