At the age of 8, Olivier Giraud was already dreaming of going on stage but this dream seemed inaccessible to his parents, so he turned to the hotel and restaurant business. After graduating, he left Paris for the United States where he obtained a 6-year visa to work as a maitre d’ at the 5-star hotel, The Breakers Palm Beach, Florida. In 2018, with his childhood dream intact, he returned to France to become a comedian. Based on his experience, he writes a comedy that deals with cultural differences and makes the bold choice to perform it 100% in English in order to entertain a cosmopolitan audience. ‘How to become a Parisianin one hour?’ was born ! He presents his project to many producers in order to get their support, but they all seem to think that it is doomed to failure. As no one is willing to bet on him, he decides to set up his own production company: French Arrogance Production.
Since that day, Olivier has been a year-round performer in a 600-seat Parisian theatre in the heart of the French capital where he has welcomed nearly 1,000,000 spectators. The New York Times devoted an article to him and he even had the privilege to be presented to her majesty Queen Elizabeth II… Oh la la !
