About Me
Born in 1990 and raised in The Hague, The Netherlands. During my high school I was curious to assist as a volunteer to give cycling classes to women refugees and immigrants. It was a true discovery how cycling contributes to social participation and freedom. I have studied at the Royal Art Academy in the Netherlands and China Beijing. After my education i was involved in event organization and cultural festivals. Another great experience was setting up and leading a concept called ‘FAST’ Free Architectural Surf Terrain. A surf village at the harbor build of out of sea-containers to create a surf community. Unexpectedly I got inspired in 2015 to start a bicycle project in Morocco. This project, called Pikala, provides education and opportunities to youth and it raises awareness on the level of road safety, health and urban mobility.
