Arival events have always been about the experiences community. For our first European conference in more than two years, we’ve decided to mix things up a little to bring everyone who works in our industry even closer.
Arival | Activate will focus on reconnecting the industry. Networking is one of our strengths, so after more than two difficult years of being confined to our homes it’s time to get the gang back together again. We will be seeing old friends and making new ones.

The event will be all about collaboration. Nobody wants to be talked at — people want to have a conversation. We feel that this is also the best way to learn. By enabling operators to have open discussions around their pressing issues and ask burning questions, we will make sure everyone has the chance to learn what they need to grow their business.
We’re doing this by prioritizing small-group roundtable discussions. These will be thematic, facilitated and structured so that everyone gets the most out of them. Our facilitators are there to open the discussion and keep it flowing, not to dominate the chat. That means you will be creating the content and helping others as you learn.
At the end of Arival | Activate, all of the discussions will be community-led. You will suggest the topics to be discussed. While we’re good at knowing what the industry needs to know, you know exactly what you want to learn. After everyone has made their suggestions, everything will be organized on the final day.
Often, the best way to learn is by doing and certain topics lead themselves to interactivity. For the sessions on dynamic pricing and decarbonization, and a website critique, we have worked closely with our facilitators to make sure you are learning actively and practicing immediately.
Our thinking around making Arival | Activate as collaborative and interactive as possible led us to make another big decision — there will be no Arival Theater in Berlin. Interviews will be intimate and industry leaders will be on the same level as attendees, and, as always, you will be able to ask the questions.
