About Me
Kelly McHugh is the Director of Marketing and Development for Pacific Whale Foundation, an international, member-based organization headquartered in Hawaiʻi that offers nonprofit programs and social enterprise-based products and services to advance its mission of protecting the ocean through science and advocacy and inspiring environmental stewardship. In this role, Kelly is responsible for the strategic and tactical management of significant relationship and fund development; creating, communicating, delivering and enhancing the value of the organization and its products and services; and securing the resources required to fulfill its mission.
Kelly serves on the Board of Directors of Adaptations Dance Theater and Nā Koa Manu Conservation. She is the Manager of County of Maui’s SMALL TOWN * BIG ART creative placemaking program and CEO of Little Rhinoceros, LLC, an arts administration firm that specializes in the advancement of conservation, arts and cultural programs that leverage community engagement in order to strengthen visibility, credibility, and investment. Her work in outreach and fund development earned her a fellowship with the Ka Ipu Kukui program in 2016 and nomination as one of Hawaiʻi’s most influential leaders, awarded a 40 Under 40 designation in 2018.
