After 10 years working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, marketing, events, and travel, Jessica fell in love with French wine and cheese and the concept of “terroir” and decided to switch tracks to become a cheesemonger and wine expert. After moving to Toulouse in southwest France, Jessica found herself using ALL of her previous experience to launch Taste of Toulouse in 2018. This award-winning tour company, which has already been recommended by Lonely Planet, BBC Good Food, the Daily Beast, and others, offers gourmet food tours and other delicious experiences to help English-speakers connect with French food and culture, experience a slice of local life in “La Ville Rose,” and support local businesses and artisans. Small but mighty, Taste of Toulouse has recently expanded to include a second guide just in time for Jessica to attend Arival Berlin 2023.
