About Me
Jamie Mageau is the Director, Research Products at the U.S. Travel Association where she develops research products to communicate the importance and impact of the travel industry. She also provides tools and research to assist state and destination tourism organizations market and promote their destinations and communicate the value of travel to industry and policymaker stakeholders. Prior to joining U.S. Travel in April 2012, Jamie was a program analyst at the U.S. Census Bureau where she developed a communication and outreach campaign to five million U.S. businesses to increase awareness and communicate the importance of the Economic Census. In addition, she also has experience as an account manager and research analyst for private sector market research firms where she developed customer satisfaction and loyalty research for Fortune 500 clients. Jamie received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and MBA from George Washington University in marketing and tourism. A native of Philadelphia – the Phillies, cheesesteaks, and water ice are near and dear to her heart. She currently resides in Falls Church, VA with her husband and two children.
