2023 Insider Pro Meetup – June
Learn from the best of the best: Each other.
Alan Rust started what is now America Tour Company with a love of food and drink, an interest in local history, and just five thousand dollars. His goal was to help visitors, locals and businesses alike connect to the local stories in their community. However, his decades as an executive in corporate retail traveling from city to city made him want to do it differently than it had been done before. ATC shares with guests in Nebraska and Iowa plus soon in Missouri and Kansas.
Rust’s business model has quickly become disruptive in the tourism industry. ATC and its branches offer highly-customizable experiences to their guests in an effort to support local businesses and connect visitors and residents to the area. As a member of Omaha’s Old Market District Board of Directors and the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Council, Rust has a unique insight in regard to important economical issues such as employee attraction and retention. With that knowledge in mind, ATC has made it a point to work with corporate guests to create memorable experiences for workgroups and promote a positive impression of an employer and the cities on their employees. Rust and have been trusted by companies such as LinkedIn and Mutual of Omaha to do just that.
