About Me
Employed by the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau since 1999, Beth is currently the Vice President of Sales and Convention Services. Her responsibilities include directing the sales and convention service efforts of twelve team members. The team is responsible for soliciting and booking international and domestic conventions, meetings, and events as well as working with meeting professionals to ensure successful events for the organization and for the Boston convention and hospitality community.
Under Beth’s direction and leadership, the GBCVB has become an award-winning organization, having won several awards for providing outstanding service to meetings and conventions. She was honored to receive ESPA’s Executive Excellence Award, presented annually to a hospitality executive who understands and supports convention services in the hospitality industry. She is active in Skal International and currently is Treasurer of the Skal International Boston Club. In 2013 she was chosen the Massachusetts Lodging Association Partner of the Year. She is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) on both the local and national levels; and in 2008 was the President of the New England Chapter.
Prior to joining the GBCVB, Beth held various sales positions in Hartford, Nashville, and The Lodge at Pebble Beach in Monterey, California. She also enjoyed leadership positions at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, the Westin Copley Place Boston, and the Hilton Boston Logan Airport.
