About Me

Alvin Wong is a seasoned tourism leader with a proven track record of success in the travel tech industry. Currently, he is the Regional Manager for GetYourGuide’s offices in Greater China, Korea and Southeast Asia, working with travel operators across APAC to unlock unforgettable experiences for travelers around the world. As a member of the company’s APAC leadership team, Alvin was the first employee in East Asia for the global marketplace, where he founded the Hong Kong office. Alvin managed both Hong Kong and Bangkok offices and led strategy, business development, account management, inventory optimization, hiring, HR & coaching for Greater China, Korea & SEA. He has experience in managing Tokyo and the ANZ region. With fluency in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese, Alvin has been a sought-after speaker at numerous industry events such as WiT North Asia & Japan panelist for online T&A, GrayLine Convention, Travel Meet Asia, and WeWork HK Workshops. In 2019, he was interviewed by Travel Times Korea.

Severe breaches of this Conference Code of Conduct may result in disqualification from participating in future events. Individuals expelled due to violating this Conference Code of Conduct will not be eligible for a refund or other consolation.
