JOB TITLE: Boat Rental Associate

DEPARTMENT: Rental Boats

REPORTS TO:COB Manager or General Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

CrossTimbers Marina is looking for a detail-oriented, hardworking individual to join our team as a Boat Cleaner. This role is essential to ensuring our customers’ boats are spotless, well-maintained, and ready for fun on the water. If you take pride in a job well done and enjoy working around boats and the lake, this is the position for you! The Boat Rental Associate projects a professional company image through all types of interaction. As this is a fast pace environment, must be able to work under pressure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Clean and detail the interior and exterior of boats (wiping, vacuuming, polishing, etc.)
  2. Wash hulls and topsides, removing stains, debris, and water spots
  3. Apply protective waxes and cleaners as needed
  4. Notify management of any visible damage or concerns
  5. Maintain cleaning equipment and materials
  6. Follow all safety protocols on and around the docks

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  2. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  3. Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
  4. Reliable transportation and punctuality
  5. Prior experience detailing or cleaning is a plus, but not required – we’ll train the right person!

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
  2. Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
  3. Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
  4. Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays if needed.
