Feast Thailand
Information
Feast Thailand is a tour and experience operator based in Hua Hin, Thailand.
Our food tours are quite “bespoke” as our guides scope out each group to ascertain spice level tolerance and have the autonomy to change what venues each tour visits.
We have food tours at varying times of the day, with an early morning walking tour visiting the local produce market and sampling street food; there’s a mid-morning “Eat Like A Local” tour which hits the back streets…way off any tourist maps.
Another mid-morning food tour is our “Kids ‘n’ All Tour”, which allows families to discovery Thai food which is “family-friendly”.
There are two lunchtime tours with varying levels of spice…”Jing Jing” is just that….the authentic tastes of Thailand and for the more experienced Thailand traveller. Out 4 Corners of Thailand tour is a more upmarket tour which explores the 4 distinct culinary regions of the Kingdom.
One of our most popular food tours is called “Sunset Local Eats” and commences at 16:30, once the heat of the day has dissipated. It visits a locals’ market, where the average Thai looks to purchase their evening meal or just the ingredients to cook themselves.
Our final food tour visits the neighbouring province of Phetchaburi. It is in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and explores the famous city of Phetchaburi, named a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.
Our Experiences vary from visiting a local vineyard (yes…in Thailand) as well as one of the most famous temples in Thailand. Another visits Kuiburi in the South of our own province of Prachuap Khiri Khan. Here we team up with the Bring the Elephant Home Foundation, who have empowered the locals to live side by side with the wild elephants who would normal destroy crops and property. With some ingenious planting and the use of bees, the elephants now give the farmers a wide berth, thus nature and man live in harmony. That experience ends up in Kuiburi National Park to view the amazing wildlife, with hopefully many elephants to see.
Two other experiences visit neighbouring Phetchaburi province; one goes to a Palm Sugar Plantation for a half day experience on one of the 3 vital ingredients which Phetchaburi is famous for…Palm Sugar. The other experience visits a working rice farm, where visitors don working gear and get to planting, harvesting, dehusking and cooking rice; all aspects of rice are covered in this experience.
Feast Thailand also handles all transportation needs in the Kingdom, as well as accommodation, with our strategic affiliations.
