Attraction Supervisor – Full Time (The Fly LINQ)
Job Description
Supervisor of Ride Operations directs the Ride Operators to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the ride. The Supervisor oversees the opening and/or closing duties on a daily basis. Responsibilities include: personnel coaching, quality control, monitoring equipment usage and daily inspections, assisting with scheduling and last-minute changes to the rotation, ensuring a safe work environment, stepping into rotation from time to time to run the attraction, and assisting the Manager and Director of Ride Operations as needed and performing special departmental projects.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Adjusting daily rotations based on crew call-ins and availability at the start of, or during each shift.
Conduct the daily pre-shift meetings for the day and evening shifts.
Monitor and facilitate the startup of the Attraction.
Maintaining a physical presence on each level of the attraction.
Supervisors may be required to step in to operate any portion of the attraction at a moment’s notice.
Coordinate evacuations from Landing Platform and the Launch Tower.
Coordinate and assist ADA Guests.
Run rescue training drills for all rescue certified crew members once a month (8 hours per employee).
Monitor and facilitate the closing of the Attraction.
Conduct the daily post shifts for the day and evening shifts.
Provide Management with positive and/or constructive input regarding crew issues, and performance evaluations.
Enforce standards, rules and requirements up through the first three levels of disciplinary action: verbal, written warning, and suspension.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School graduate with two or more years’ experience in a customer facing position.
Prior management experience with direct reports.
Prior management experience with amusement/attraction company preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to effectively communicate in a friendly, courteous manner with guests, other employees, management and the general public
Ability to interpret and analyze technical issues and situations with the ride and effectively communicate those issues with the Maintenance Team and Operations Management.
Specific knowledge required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job including all positions within the attraction, ride rescue training, When2Work scheduling software, and OSHA requirements regarding health and safety standards in the workplace.
Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills, specifically related to task prioritizing and completion of assignments and projects.
Must be able to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
Must be able to communicate in English
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights and holidays
Must be able to work in high places
Must complete Ride Operations training and understand how to operate the required ride equipment.
Must be a friendly and outgoing individual, trainable, and able to follow instructions and directions
Must be able to communicate over two-way radios
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Must be able to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold environment for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 15lbs. weight overhead to a height of 6’8″ and exhibit upper arm strength.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and stoop
Must be able to work in a loud noise environment
Must be able to rescue guest off the line.
Candidates must meet weight requirements between 60 lbs. and 300 lbs.
