Position Title: Tour Director

Job Description:

Trans-Bridge Tours, Inc. is currently seeking a Tour Director who will play a vital role in our Tour Department. The company is accepting applicants from those with a love for travel and people.

If you are a person who would like to get paid to travel for a day or a couple of days at a time, this is the position for you. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone who would like to earn extra money and have fun while doing it.

Responsibilities:

  • One day prior to departure, review necessary paperwork, itinerary and obtain required supplies with Tour Planner.
  • Day after tour completion, review tour, tour paperwork and detailed trip report with the Tour Planner.
  • Review and coordinate times, pick up locations and other tour information with the assigned Motorcoach Driver.
  • Meet and greet passengers upon departure.
  • Make general announcements and keep passengers informed of tour itinerary and changes.
  • Distribute tour information, answer questions and assist with passenger(s) special requests.
  • Make payments on behalf of the Company.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude and represent the Company in a positive manner.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work a seasonal schedule (March-December).
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Walking from place to place on tours.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
