RocketRez, CaptainBook Announce Latest Funding Rounds

Booking and ticketing platforms continue to expand in the tours and attractions sector as more operators bring their experiences online

Two tours, activities and attractions software vendors have recently wrapped up funding rounds. 

RocketRez, an online booking software provider that offers an all-in-one ticketing platform for medium to large tours and attractions businesses (with revenues between $2 million to $100 million), announced today the close of a $15 million Series B funding round. The company raised $6.6 million in a series A in early 2021.

During the past two years, RocketRez — which got its start on the Canadian prairies in 2011 — has more than doubled its growth, according to the company. The latest investment round, led by New York-based growth investor Level Equity, will allow the company — which has primarily focused on North America and Europe until now — to expand to “new vertical markets and geographies.”

Meanwhile, CaptainBook — a Greece-based booking software provider and channel manager founded in 2021 for small-to-medium-sized experience businesses — has raised €250,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by SeedBlink. 

According to CaptainBook, “The founders will use the investment to drive product development and accelerate CaptainBook.io’s expansion to Eastern Europe – especially Romania and Poland – and in Spain and Italy.”
