Pepijn Rijvers is the President of Viator, leading the business unit’s strategy, operations, and innovation in support of driving long-term growth in the global experiences marketplace. With over two decades of leadership experience in digital transformation, marketing, product development, and business model innovation, Pepijn has a strong track record of scaling businesses and driving strategic impact in both B2C and B2B markets.. Before joining Viator, Pepijn spent over 12 years at Booking.com, where he held several senior leadership roles. As senior vice president and managing director of accommodations, he led the company’s core accommodations business, overseeing product, marketing, technology, and operations. Prior to that, as chief marketing officer, he managed one of the world’s largest advertising budgets and helped drive Booking.com’s offerings into new verticals, including attractions, transportation, in-stay services, and flights. Pepijn was also a global management board member of Booking Holdings, working across its portfolio of brands, including Priceline, Agoda, Kayak, and OpenTable. Most recently, Pepijn served at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) as executive vice president, redefining value, before becoming chief product & technology officer. In these roles, he led initiatives to integrate sustainability into corporate decision-making and developed digital products to drive business transformation. Pepijn’s favorite travel destination is anywhere with snow, as he is an avid skier and mountain lover.
