Leslie is a seasoned travel industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in airlines, attractions and hotels.
His career started as a management trainee in SilkAir and his 9-year career exposed him to a diverse portfolio of responsibilities including overseas manager roles in Thailand and Indonesia, Public Relations, Operatons and Sales & Marketing where he oversaw the re-launch of the SilkAir brand.
After a brief foray into the private banking space, Leslie joined the Jetstar Group and took on senior management responsibilities in the Jetstar Group including Head of Commercial for Jetstar Asia and Regional General Manager for Southeast Asia. This was where he honed his commercial and leadership skills with roles focused around driving revenue from the key Southeast Asia and China markets.
Leslie’s last role before joining Globaltix was with Resorts World Sentosa where he led the Sales, Marketing, MICE, and Partnerships teams to help drive commercial activities and revenue for the Resort which included Universal Studios Singapore, the SEA Aquarium and the hotels located in the Resort. This stint provided him a keen appreciation of the complexity in driving revenue to such a diverse range of products.
Joining Globaltix allows Leslie to now draw on his many years of cross-industry, cross-market experience and understand how technology helps to create efficiencies and optimize performance. He has a keen passion to help the attractions and tour operator partners in their quest for digitalization having understood how this can help these businesses grow.
