COGNAC TASTING TOUR – DMC
Information
Cognac Tasting Tour is a DMC created in 2005 to offer alternative and personalized tourism, adapted to the Cognac country. It allows you to meet the men and women who participate in the production of cognac and other local spirits : vodka, gin, whisky, liqueurs and Pineau des Charentes.
Jean-Luc, its founder, is an epicurean and a good connoisseur of the vineyard where he lives. He trained at the BNIC (Cognac National Office) to become a “Cognac Educator” and received professional training in cognac distillation at ORECO (Organization Économique du Cognac).
He is a member of the Cognac Cigare Club, of which he was president for several years, and participated in the creation of the Slow Food association of Charente. He participates each year in the organization of the Salon du Goût du Cognac de Grande Champagne (a market of producers from all over France who come to present their best products where food and cognac pairing workshops are offered).
Our agency, Cognac Tasting Tour, is based in Jarnac-Champagne, a village in the heart of Petite Champagne d’Archiac, one of the best cognac vintages, in Charente Maritime, where several large trading houses have wine estates. The agency’s offices are located in a former 19th century wine farm, now perfectly renovated.
