Job Title: Seasonal Raft Guide (NOC 64322)
Wage: $25 – $28.85 per hour and up, depending on experience and number of seasons guiding on the Kicking Horse River or comparable rivers. Year-end bonus.
Hours per Week: 30-40 hours per week
Number of Positions Available: 13

Glacier Raft Company operates guided whitewater rafting trips on the world-renowned Kicking Horse River near Golden, British Columbia. Our team of experienced guides is dedicated to providing safe, thrilling, and memorable outdoor adventures for guests from around the world. Job Description and Responsibilities
The Seasonal Raft Guide is responsible for the safety, enjoyment, and overall experience of guests during rafting trips.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Safely guide whitewater rafting trips on the Kicking Horse River in varying water levels and weather conditions.
• Provide clear and engaging safety briefings and paddling demonstrations.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure all participants feel comfortable and informed.
• Rig and de-rig rafts and gear before and after trips.
• Perform routine gear maintenance and equipment checks.
• Assist with trip logistics including transportation, loading, and unloading rafts.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and follow company safety procedures.
• Represent the company in a professional and enthusiastic manner at all times.

Job Description
Employment Requirements
• Valid 50-hour first aid certification (80-hour preferred).
• 2 years whitewater guiding experience on oars in Class III or higher rivers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in variable conditions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Work Conditions
• Outdoor, physically demanding work in varying weather and water conditions.
• Workdays may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-oriented environment with a focus on guest experience and safety.
