What You’ll Do:
As an Interactor, you’ll be at the heart of inspiring curiosity and discovery. You’ll:
- Bring science to life by engaging guests of all ages with hands-on activities and exhibits.
- Be a friendly and approachable guide, helping families and school groups explore everything the Discovery Cube has to offer.
- Share your enthusiasm for science and learning while creating unforgettable experiences for our visitors.

Additional responsibilities include:
- Proactively engage guests while on the floor and interacting with exhibits
- Ensure all guests are having a fun and safe experience
- Assist with stage shows, field trips, birthday parties and other programs as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; passion for science and education highly desired
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service
- Public speaking or performance experience preferred
- Prior experience working with children preferred
- Excellent verbal skills required
- Willing to learn and teach basic scientific concepts
- Friendly demeanor and ability to interact with adults and children of all ages
- Must be a proactive, self-starter and require little supervision
- Basic computer knowledge required (email, internet browsing)
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs. for short periods of time
- Prior cash handling experience preferred
- Knowledge of a second language a plus but not required
- Must be fully available a minimum of three days per week during operating hours of 8:30am-5:30pm
