Role Profile

At Diventures, where safety is our number one priority and fun is our number one goal, we are in the relationship business. The SCUBA Experience Lead contributes to the success of Diventures by consistently building positive experiences and lasting relationships with our customers through high-touch, high-communication, personalizedcustomer service. The SCUBA Experience Lead works closely with customers, Diventures team members, and Diventures Dive Professionals, to coordinate SCUBA programming offerings at their location. To be successful in their role, the SCUBAExperience Lead must focus on the acquisition, conversion, and retention of SCUBA customers.

The SCUBA Experience Lead structures the course offerings, scheduling, and oversees the Diventures Dive Professionals at their respective location.

Responsible for the performance of the SCUBA revenue at their location, the SCUBA Experience Lead works to optimize the income and profit margin of this revenue stream, through course scheduling, swim and Try SCUBA conversion, product conversion to packages, instructor optimization, and incorporation of logical sales-focused product recommendations throughout all courses. The SCUBA Experience Lead should convey excitement in SCUBA and the aquatic environment to customers and Diventures team members to drive acquisition by creating enthusiasm and anticipation in SCUBA programing and offerings to include Try SCUBA, Snorkeling, and SCUBA Rangers. The SCUBA Experience Lead works closely with the SCUBA Program Director and Store Managers to proactively develop new Dive Professionals and ensure effective succession planning. The SCUBA Experience Lead also works with the SCUBA Program Director to keep up to date and maintain standards for all Diving operations.

The SCUBA Experience Lead should be familiar with both regional and international dive offerings (teaming with the Travel Department) to be able to convey dive opportunities to students, Diventures team members, and Dive Professionals.
