Founded by three serial entrepreneurs – Henley Vazquez, Jake Peters and Evan Frank – our ambition is to build the next generational brand in travel.
We’re seeking an ambitious and creative people person to join our team as Community Manager.
Working directly with co-founder Henley Vazquez, this individual will foster engagement amongst our network of travel advisors and entrepreneurs, and will join a team dedicated to helping our advisors succeed as entrepreneurs.
The ideal candidate is someone who is welcoming and empathetic by nature, and has a strong drive to foster connections amongst a diverse community.
The role is centered around building an online hub and community for our network of advisors, and the ideal candidate is a dynamic and creative problem solver who takes a proactive approach to fostering connections. This will include spearheading and assisting an online and live events strategy – both programming that we create in-house and work with partners on.
This role – creating a meaningful professional community – will be a cornerstone of our mission to create the best job in the world – a Fora travel advisor.
What you’ll do…
Engage with Fora’s community of advisors through our online platform on Circle
Support with the ideation and execution of online offerings (like events/trainings) to help them succeed as advisors
Create collateral for engaging presentations and marketing assets
Work alongside our content team to gather and produce itineraries and guides for the advisors’ profile pages
Bring creative ideas to the table for a variety of projects
Who you are…
Bachelor’s level degree
Proactive and natural community builder with experience building or engaging one or multiple communities
Obsessed with customer/client success
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Inclusive nature with a desire to support a diverse community
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Super organized, detail-oriented and trustworthy
Experience using community management platforms such as Circle strongly preferred
Travel industry experience strongly preferred
This is a full-time role based in New York City with competitive compensation and benefits.
