    About Us:
    The mission of the our organization is to enrich life with perpetuating the preservation and restoration of this Historical tropical site flora and fauna, the balance of the ecosystems, and ancient cultural heritage. AS our location is deemed as one of the most significant ancient historical sites in all of Hawaii.

    We are now accepting applications for a Full Time Tour Manager, who has some handyman skills, to help with the Maintenance Management and can also help to source for and oversee others out of your skill set. This position directs and administers the operations of our fundraiser Visitor Programs, focusing primarily on the Cultural and Natural Historic Tour Program. With a focus on healing and well being of ones self and the planet thru a vegetarian diet as if souls embrace a plant based meal even a few time a week it will help substantially drop the carbon foot print.

    The Tour Program Manager will work to deliver top quality fun entertaining educational programs for our visitor activities and help with developing & launching our on and off line product sales inventory and up sales that will help to instill the locations mission of a inspiring educational experience. Where they the visitors will feel a deep and profound gratitude to be a part of our restoration, preservation, & conservation efforts. Included are aspects of how making healthy lifestyle choices and being a vegetarian or even embracing eating two plant bases meals a week helps save oneself and the planet.

    In this position you will work closely with the Director to ensure quality tours and experiences are provided to our visitors as well as financial projections and revenue are on track as budgeted.

    Responsibilities include the following:
    Management and promotion digital and off line marketing of tour operations.
    Manage, train staff, including: scheduling, ongoing training and development, safety, regulatory compliance (including FMSCA/DOT) discipline. Product development and launch on and off line. Oversee, coordinate and help with repairs and upgrades, new installations with building and or the maintenance with new installations and maintenance of the Landscape designs.
    Coordinate efforts to on and off line market and advertise to the Maui Visitor Industry.
    Provide interpretation of the location, its features and programs; and train staff on interpretation and interpretive materials. Including regularly checking in on their inventory & presentation items for quality control as well as the work environment is being kept clean and organized. You will Work closely with helping create and launch on line and off line retail products, sales and up sales. Including all aspects of supplies and the inventor control with staff on tour supply processes & making sure they are followed. Help create additional streams of income and some light book keeping.

    Qualifications:
    Minimum 3 years experience in a progressively more responsible capacity managing a complex business unit or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Experience working in and marketing on and off line either Visitor Industry, and or Nonprofit sector. A valid Driver’s License required for employment.
    Excellent computer skills including Google products.
    Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing with diverse audiences. Ability to always bring harmony into any communication interaction.
    Must be able to be an outstanding lead tour guide & to over see training and if need be on call for last minute to tours if the scheduled guide is not able to make it. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and thoughtfully on multiple tasks concurrently. Good natured easy to work with a people person yet respectful to upper management can take instructions and follow thru a self starter.

    Its a plus if you have an excellent eye for the tropical jungle esthetics and enjoy landscape work and design. Knowledge in local plants ornamental edible and medicinal is a plus.

    Having landscape design and / or a good eye for Balance is a plus.
    Being knowledgeable and possessing skills in all Around Handyman skills is a plus. Having an interested in off grid modalities including modalities like a Ram pumps is a plus.

    Being well versed in all aspects of digital marketing is a must and on and off line such as street banner ads, rack cards presentations, creating in roads with the BnB’s and hotels as well as activity desks. Normally visitations are once a month to these outside vendors.

    We also offer rustic off grid accommodations much like a Robinson Caruso experience. For the work trade portion of this arrangement, according to the number of hours it can include healthy meals, all utilities etc. Can include use of a vehicle. We do prefer someone who is interested in the work trade volunteering for h0using, along with a monthly salary.

    A couple can apply as well, we are not set up for kids or medium to large dogs but little dogs under 10 pounds who are well behaved and know where to potty will be considered as well as one cat and or a bird.

    The location is great for those who are healthy minded, as here a Pure vegetarian diet free of meat fish or eggs are not consumed on location, as well as alcohol and cigarette smokings. We encourage a clean life health minded life experience, get high naturally, and teach free Japa medication that helps one become free from all vices including healing the mind.
