Location: Downtown Vancouver

Wages: $22.00/hour

At GrayLine WestcoastSightseeing, we attribute much of our success to our passion for Vancouver andthe strength of our teams. To build on this momentum, we’re searching for anengaged Marketing Assistant to work closely with our Director, Communications +Branding. This individual will contribute to existing marketing initiatives,while assisting with the administration of new programs aligned with branding,corporate and traveller goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experiencewith various marketing functions, including communications, advertising, andbranding. The Marketing Assistant must be an organized multitasker, with keen attentionto detail and ability to handle diverse projects simultaneously. They must also showcase creativity to designfast-turnaround projects to brand standards and demonstrate writing skills thatinspire and engage.

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE

  • Online Review Program – answer all online reviews from Trip Advisor/Viator and Google, collect recognition and update teams, and report on comments/tour sentiments
  • In-HouseMarketing Collateral – In-house designer for all quick turnaround and low-volumeinternal and external marketing pieces and collateral
  • OnlineManagement – Regular review of all content on GLWCS website and onlinereputation – initiate updates, changes, and troubleshooting with departmentleads or agency
  • Communication- Execute or assist with all internal and external communications/newsletters,keeping GLWCS brand voice consistent, all while managing and maintaining GLWCSinternal CRM (Keap)
  • Programming- Assist with all internal recognition, well-being, retention, and all externalcommunity awareness programs. Includes submitting Vancouver Tourism Awardnominations
  • SocialMedia – Support the agency’s social media strategy with day-of stories in linewith scheduled posts and campaigns
  • Furtherknowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars -sharing best practices and marketing ideas/trends

WHAT WE WILL LIKE ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 2 years experience in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Knowledge oftraditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social mediamarketing
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office
  • Excellent writing,communication, and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge inusing Adobe/Illustrator and Canva
  • Familiarity withCustomer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
