Requirements

As a Manager Trainee, you’ll participate in a comprehensive training program that will prepare you for a leadership role at one of the busiest travel centers around. You’ll learn every aspect of managing operations, leading teams, and delivering exceptional customer service, while being guided by experienced leaders along the way. Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Master Leadership Skills: You’ll be trained on how to effectively lead, motivate, and coach team members. Learn how to manage shifts, improve team performance, and create a positive, high-energy work environment where everyone can thrive.
  • Hands-On Operational Training: Get practical, on-the-job training in managing the day-to-day operations of the Kenly 95 Petro facility. This includes learning how to oversee fuel services, retail operations, inventory management, safety protocols, and more. You’ll be prepared to step into management with the full understanding of all operational aspects.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Learn how to create a customer-first culture by providing exceptional service. During your training, you’ll work alongside the management team to address customer feedback, handle complaints, and ensure that every guest has a top-tier experience.
  • Financial & Operational Acumen: Through guided training, you’ll gain skills in managing budgets, balancing cash registers, and ensuring that the location operates within financial targets. You’ll learn how to control costs, monitor revenue, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: You’ll develop strong decision-making skills by working through real-world scenarios and challenges. You’ll learn how to handle unexpected situations, from staff issues to customer concerns, while keeping the business running smoothly.
  • Safety & Compliance: Gain in-depth knowledge of the safety and compliance standards that govern the fuel center and retail environment. You’ll be trained in maintaining a safe environment for both staff and customers and ensuring all protocols are followed.
