DIRECTOR, SALES & TRIP DESIGN
B&R’s Director of Sales & Trip Design will inspire and support our team of award-winning Trip Designers. As a member of the senior leadership team, B&R’s Director of Sales & Trip Design will develop and deliver on plans to meet company revenue and trip quality targets, supporting the team by setting individual goals and objectives, and implementing solutions to improve overall sales effectiveness. This role supports the Trip Design team in strategically planning and executing innovative trips around the world, while ensuring the delivery of the most extraordinary experiences to our travellers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all trip development in assigned regions to produce a full portfolio of trips, scheduled and private:
- Develop an annual portfolio strategy and sales plan for all assigned regions and deliver on revenue and profitability targets;
- Set trip mandates for route work and development with individual Trip Designers, and ensure that assigned deliverables are met;
- lead the business in establishing dates and pricing for all scheduled departures;
- Oversee private trip lead distribution and ensure necessary trip design resources and expertise is in place to deliver on revenue and service targets;
- Ensure the inside sales team holds the deep regional expertise required to support revenue targets;
- Ensure that trip excellence is maintained in all assigned regions, upholding trip planning and operational standards to the highest level;
- Support Trip Designers in acquiring new business;
- Ensure that Trip Designers have all tools and knowledge required to excel in their work;
- Support the entire B&R team by providing trip planning and industry expertise.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills;

- Proficiency in MS Suite of tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook;
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant experience as a senior product and sales leader in the luxury travel industry;
- Hands-on sales and trip planning experience;
- Development and implementation of strategic sales plans for growing business(es), with a strong understanding of sales analytics;
- In-depth knowledge of the international travel market with deep-rooted relationships with industry partners;
- Experience in the active travel industry is an asset;
- Experience successfully managing the performance of individuals and a team in a sales environment.
