Well, we have that, and more. Manning Park Resort is a year-round resort located between Hope and Princeton, BC. If you are ready to leave the hustle and bustle of city life, and enjoy outdoor fun and adventure, this is a great place to work.

We are presently searching for a key part of our operations structure, to join our team as our ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER – PARKS.

If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you. With a salary in the $55,000-$60,000 range, plus rent-free housing and other benefits, this is a $80,000 compensation package for the right person!

This is a year round position with a minimum commitment of 1 year – with an expected start date June 15

Summary of Responsibilities:
* Scheduling and time sheet management of staff

* Planning, Coordinating, and overseeing daily tasks and operations of the all teams

* Maintaining task records for the Operations Manager including sanitization records, facility repairs and maintenance records

* Maintaining equipment, tools and inventory

* Training department staff as directed by the Operations Manager

* Seasonal Parks startup and shut down

* Repairs as needed based on personal skills and experience

* Investigating incidents and near misses and providing reports to Operations Manager.

* Resolving work and staff related challenges

* Monitoring quality of work, safety, and security

* Other tasks as requested by the Operations Manager

Requirements and Qualifications:

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Effective time management and organizational skills

* Value safe working practices

* Experience in training, planning and leadership

* Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

* Ability to work in a high-paced dynamic environment as both an individual and team leader

* Experience with Excel, word, PDF, and Office 365 programs

* Able to lift and carry 50lbs, and able to hike all trails maintained in the contract

* Experience with P.O.S. System, cash handling, etc

* Class 5 driver license with a clean drivers abstract and clear criminal record check

* Fluent in English

* Proven experience managing a 20+ team considered an asset

* WorkSafe BC or equivalent chainsaw certification is an asset

* OFA 3 first aid or higher an asset

* Experience with Payworks or similar payroll system an asset

* Knowledge of Ski Resort Operation considered an Asset

* Ability to ski or snowboard preferred

* Snow cat, ATV, Snowmobile, Skid Steer, Heavy machinery operating experience considered an Asset
