Accounting Clerk – Entry Level
Position Summary: The Accounting Clerkis responsible to assist the finance team in numerous facets including dataentry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Essential Job Functions
1. DataEntry
- Assistin maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Inputand verify financial transactions into accounting software.
- Reconcilebank statements and credit card transactions.
- Assistvendors in cleaning up invoices.
2. AccountsPayable
- Supportthe accounts payable process by processing invoices and ensuring timelypayments.
- Verifyaccuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Facilitatespayment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers,reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
3. AccountsReceivables
- Assistwith accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collections.
- Monitorand follow up on overdue customer payments.
4. Collaboration
- Workclosely with the finance team and other departments to gather and analyzefinancial information.
- Collaboratewith team members on special projects and initiatives.
- Assistwith office relate-duties.
- Allother duties as assigned.
